CAMAC OR 200 Series Dual 24 Bit Output Registers Product Description This single width CAMAC module is a dual 24 bit data output register with a total of 48 bits addressable as 2 separate registers. It may be used as a power output driver with each output handling up to 150 mA in the ’ON’ state, and withstanding over 70 volts in the ’OFF’ state. When a dataway overwrite command is made to the module with data bits set to ’1’, the outputs will switch ’ON’, ie go ’LOW’. The use of fast discrete 800 mW transistors in the output stages makes the outputs very tolerant of overloads, and withstand continuous fault currents up to 350 mA without damage. Features

Output Pull-Up Resistor Details
May be fitted or not as an option.
The pull–up resistors common mode ends have been arranged in two main groups, one for each 24 bit register. These ends are arranged as links and may be connected to one of the following voltages:–
| +24 Volts (2.5 k ohms). | +12 Volts (560 ohms). |
| +6 Volts (150 ohms). | +5 Volts (100 ohms). |
Resistor values shown in brackets are minimums permitted. The Strobe Outputs are treated separately, their pull–ups may be linked to any one of the above voltage pin points. In view of the high total earth current that might flow through the dataway, 2 x 1 ohm 2.5 watt resistors have been included in the earth return path of each register. They may be linked out if not required.
