CAMAC 16 Channel Scalers Type MCC 377 & 380

Product Description

The 377 scaler is a single–width CAMAC module which provides 16 channels of 16 or 24 bit binary counters with RS422 compatible differential inputs. The 377 and 380 differ only with respect to the scaler bit size; 377 is 16 bits and the 380 is 24 bits. The scalers may be gated either by a TTL signal presented on a LEMO socket, or by an RS422 differential signal which accompanies the scaler signals. Signals are connected to the scaler inputs by a front panel mounted 37 way ’D’ type socket. Each scaler has an associated buffer register which stores data either on receipt of a front panel TTL ’latch’ pulse or a dataway generated latch command, or if the appropriate printed circuit link is set, on receipt of a dataway read command. The module is equipped with a full 16 bit LAM status, mask and request structure. Each LAM status bit is set when the corresponding scaler overflows.

Features
