Product Description

This module is a versatile fast analog input system, with up to four channels, all converting simultaneously to give 12 bits of data each in 25uS max (standard speed) 15 uS (fast), or 10uS (extra fast). Input signal range is +/–5V, 0 – 10V or +/–10V, link selectable, into 1M ohm, with overvoltage protection at +/–15V with sample and hold action.

Triggering is either internal or a software selected command indicating ’all data read out’, or by external by TTL pulse. End of conversion produces a LAM (if enabled) and a trigger output pulse (TTL), 1uS wide.

The input sample and hold amplifier can have its gain modified to give other input ranges down to around 100 mV full scale. A comparator option can be fitted, which compares the result of the conversion on channel 1 with a dataway programmed value (selectable by program for either higher or lower) which stops the ADC and stores all results when true. This makes plotting one signal against another very simple.

To special order, a peak sensing circuit can be fitted to the single channel unit, with threshold detector and automatic trigger, reset by reading out channel 1.
