Product Description

This single width CAMAC module contains upto 4 24–bit switch registers, 3 of which maybe located internally on the module PCB and the 4th on the front panel. The 3 internal sets may be preset through module side cover cutouts and are intended for multi–user code settings, the front panel register is intended for random entry of data. A 25th switch allow users to enable and set LAM, an internal switch enables users to preset the sub–address order for reading the registers. Type 81 also contains a 24 bit read/write register and front panel LED display.

Function and Sub-address Command Set

(All Function Codes and Sub–addresses are fully decoded, however, on reduced versions of the Generator, the X and Q response will appear on registers that are not present).

Operating Environment

The module should normally be operated in the standard CAMAC temperature environment (+10 C to + 45 C), forced air cooling is not required. The module requires +6 volts at approximately 700mA worst case.

Order Information

Type 80 full specification but without LED displayed R/W register. Type 81 full specification. Special versions of type 80 and 81 can be supplied with 1 or more of the internal registers omitted, thus reducing cost and complexity.
