CAMAC IOR 480 Optically Isolated Input/Output Register

Product Description

The IOR 480 contains a 24 bit input and a 24 bit output register. Each data line is optically isolated at the respective input and output.

A ’Data Present’ input signal is used to set a read LAM to indicate that new input data is available. A ’Data Accepted’ pulse is output after a time delay to indicate that the data has been read. Both handshake signals are isolated.

The output register has 24 parallel open collector outputs which may be controlled from the dataway. A ’Data Required’ signal may be used to set a write LAM to indicate that new data is required. A ’Data Present’ pulse is generated after a delay to show that new data is present. Both handshake signals are optically isolated.

Signal Standards

Input current for logic ’1’ = 10 mA.
Output current for logic ’1’ = 10 mA (open collector current sink).
Output voltage for ’Off’ state = 24 volts.

Temperature Range

0 to 50 degrees Celsius.

Power Requirements

+6V at 1.2 amps from the mandatory power supply.

Module addressed LED ’N’.
