Hytec supply complete turnkey system projects developed from the client's specification or Hytec's design. Our software development, hardware expertise and system integration skills have enabled us to develop solutions for nuclear power stations, high-energy lasers, proton synchrotron machines and power generation utilities.

We have over a period of over 25 years developed a detailed understanding of how to combine hardware, software, network and legacy elements to provide an affordable but robust solution for use in the most demanding of applications.

We operate using a "tool-box" of standard components, both hardware and software which are complemented with  a bespoke service generating special modules to arrive at a fully tailored solution.

The process of creating a system design requires a great deal of understanding of the various, often conflicting requirements that exist in the real world; speed, accuracy, budgets, physical constraints, timescales, environments and many other factors have to considered before a balanced decision can be made.

We would normally expect  to spend time in the very early stages developing a detailed understanding of the client's objectives and usually explore a number of alternative proposals. This work would be undertaken by a senior member of the systems group and would normally take the form of a feasability study from which the client would clearly understand the functionality proposed, the timescale envisaged and the likely costs involved. 

Where Hytec are responsible for system implementation a project, a multi-disciplinary team headed by a project  manager is formed with responsibility for the management of the system through to final customer acceptance.
