Hytec Electronics Ltd are developers and manufacturers of electronic hardware modules, developers of computer software, systems implementers and systems solution providers. In recognition of the Year 2000 date problem and its side effects we have investigated our hardware and software product range and have prepared the following statement about compatibility. All systems implemented and delivered as turnkey systems have been considered and a policy statement regarding those systems communicated directly to the system administrators concerned
Customers with equipment not covered by a maintenance contract should contact Hytec Electronics Ltd for a Year 2000 appraisal statement.
Hardware Product Range
All hardware products in our CAMAC catalogue (Issue 16 and later) and VME catalogue (Issue 11 and later) that are manufactured by Hytec Electronics Ltd will be Year 2000 compliant as from January 1998.
Software Products
The following software products supplied by Hytec Electronics Ltd will be Year 2000 compliant by January 1998.
Note: VCD1100, VCD1150, VCD1160 Q-bus device drivers for Open VMS and CATY for 1100,1150,1160 and 1365 are excluded from this statement. Their compliance is dependent on the operating system used. If necessary, individual statements can be made on request.
Systems Software
All software systems designed to our customer’s specifications and delivered after January 1 1998 will be year 2000 compliant. Systems that have been completed and delivered have been reviewed and the system administrators notified with statements of as to the degree of compliance.
